Project: Simply DHH - Inclusive Illustration Set
Challenge:
Simply DHH, a platform providing resources for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (D/HH) community, lacked diverse illustrations representing its audience. Marisol, the platform's creator, sought inclusive graphics that accurately portrayed D/HH individuals across genders, ethnicities, and ages.
My Solution (Custom Illustrations):
I designed a custom set of illustrations for Simply DHH using Adobe Illustrator. These illustrations aimed to showcase the rich diversity within the D/HH community. By featuring characters of various genders, ethnicities, and ages, the illustrations provided a more inclusive visual representation for the platform's resources.
Impact:
This set of custom illustrations allows Simply DHH to present a more accurate and relatable picture of the D/HH community. This inclusive approach fosters a stronger connection with users by reflecting the diversity of the people they serve.
